Pattie Simone’s SES Conference Feedback
Pattie Simone, founder of WomenCentric.net and President of Write-Communications.com & Marketing-Advantage.net, was recently interviewed at the Search Engine Strategies Conference (SES) in San Jose, CA. Pattie — who is a Sales and Marketing Columnist with WomenEntrepreneur.com and an Entrepreneurial Activist — was asked for her feedback about Charlene Li’s Keynote speech — “How to Prepare for the Future of Search.”
Pattie points out the value of smart viral engagement, how the internet is an open forum, that companies are NOT in control as they used to think they were, and that every company, no matter how large or small, can benefit from every employee becoming an “apostle, spreading the good news” about their respective firms.
This video also includes Charlene Li’s (co-author of Groundswell) most salient talking points: societal behaviors and client and prospect interaction are evolving because of net-based tools, social communities and interaction capabilities of viral spaces, and why companies who embrace authentic dialogue generated by Search and keywords will come out on top of their less responsive or tech-challenged competitors. In between Charlene Li’s comments are Pattie Simone’s and Lisa Buyer’s thoughts (of the FL company, The Buyer Group).
