Her passion, discipline and drive for dance have continued throughout her life and became the source of inspiration to open Elite Dance International Studio and Apparel. A champion in many ballroom dance national events, she has a love for competition and a commitment to Dancesport, a competitive ballroom category that demands top athletic and mental focus. Kathleen Hannon

Kathi became addicted to traveling when her mother sent her to live with family in Ireland for two weeks the summer she turned 14. Ten years later, her mother is wondering what she created as Kathi's goal is now to travel to places that are off the beaten path. The experience that truly changed Kathi's life was the year she spent teaching in India (2009-10). She started writing about her experiences & the vastly different culture. A recent trip to Nicaragua inspired her to create a travel blog to share her adventures with others (& maybe one day get paid for it). When not blogging, Kathi works with some pretty incredible students at a high school in MA & is pursuing her masters' in Mental Health Counseling.
